Matrix Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for an Advanced ManufacturingEngineer to be based in Wexford with our client a leading manufacturer in the medical sector. This is a permanent job to support new products coming to site. Key Duties: Develop, document, and implement manufacturing methods needed to produce new products into Manufacturing. Execute and report on process qualifications from Design to Manufacturing. Design and implement manufacturing tooling. Good knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques. Review engineering changes & ensure all product documentation are updated to support the change prior to release to production. Develop takt/cycle time’s estimates, process flow, line layout & capacity planning. Develop and implement changes in operational workflow. Be capable of developing technologies and methods used to define how products are to be manufactured. Experience with end-to-end manufacturing process management, performance analysis, quality and compliance. Plan, manage, track and report capital and expenses related to AME portion of projects. Strategic planning of new product projects. Participate in DFMEA review, facilitate PFMEA and Design reviews. Develop, document, implement and update standard operating procedures. Partner with internal resources to develop capable equipment suppliers. Candidates Experience: Bachelors / Master’s degree in engineering. Minimum of (5) years’ experience in the medical device sector. Knowledge of Industrial engineering and lean manufacturing principles. 2D and 3D mechanical (tool/fixture/cell) design experience desired. New product launch and project management experience.
