Overview: Our client is a global health care leader with a diversified portfolio of prescription medicines, vaccines and animal health products. They are now hiring a Director, Supply Chain Management. The role includes responsibility for Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Material Management and SAP at the site. The role also has dotted line responsibility for Procurement. Responsibilities: * Set strategy and direction for SCM to ensure on going value is added to meet business needs. Ensure actions include medium and long term strategies. * Is accountable for achieving the process outcomes for Demand Management, Planning Scheduling, and Inventory and Material Management Stewardship. Is accountable for creating the production plan for the site. * Leads SAP sustainment and improvement efforts at site and provide single point of responsibility and decision making for all aspects of SAP including but not limited to the SCM modules in SAP system requirements. * As a senior leader in the organization the individual will be responsible for strategic leadership, managing a sizable function and for building competencies, talent management and the development of people. * Utilizes the above site Supply Chain organization to ensure alignment of Supply Chain activities across the division. * Drive compliance with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day to day activities and all applicable job functions. * Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture. Qualifications. * Bachelors Degree or higher preferred; ideally in a related Business, Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline. * A minimum of 10 yrs post qualification is required.
