My client, A bustling 3 star Hotel and Venue in Co.Carlow is currently seeking an Senior Duty Manager /Operations Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be a hands on, energetic Operations Manager or highly experienced Duty Manager. The Role: Responsible for ensuring the day to day operation of the business is efficient and effective. Take full responsibility for the general appearance of the premises to include; cleanliness, layout, lighting, music, heating, ventilation etc. Be accountable for ensuring staff operate efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our customers with an excellent service. Conclude any other duties as directed to you by Senior Management. Main Duties: To attain an in-depth knowledge of appropriate legislation to perform your job competently i.e. Health & Safety Regulations and all other legislation relevant to you position. To ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations as they pertain to the business and report any concerns/breaches of such to management promptly. Actively participate in all training and development initiatives and performance appraisals. Familiarise yourself with all aspects of supply procedures ; ordering, delivery, stock rotation and control procedures. Be accountable for your own personal development and to be proactive in seeking opportunities for your development. Ensure proper liaison between staff and management.
