Sales Representative. €48K + bonus, car, laptop & mobile. Territory: Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Laois. Permanent. Our client is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and self-managed Representative with a proven track record in a similar role to join their team. Responsibilities: Understand and execute a professional consultative selling approach to grow the customer base. Prepare and present design solutions to potential new customers in order to grow the customer base in all sectors. Prepare customer proposals and solutions with clear costings and evaluation. Have a thorough knowledge of Industry Codes of Practice and apply these in a consistent manner with the highest regard for safety. Apply technical knowledge to deliver energy solutions to new and existing customers with safety as the highest priority. Negotiate to retain existing customers through a thorough knowledge of market dynamics and effectively combating competitor tactics. Be able to segment your customer base and proactively manage margins. Plan and time manage with competing priorities as part of a winning Team through diligent territory planning in order to achieve targeted performance. Pro-actively pursue new opportunities for business growth. Network at supplier and industry events to promote the brand. Provide updates via CRM, monthly team meetings and monthly reporting as required. Network with and support internal colleagues to provide a customer centric approach to deliver the highest level of service. Experience and Qualifications. Ideally you will hold a third level qualification preferably in business or engineering. Ideally you will have a minimum of five years in a sales/technical sales role. Experience within the energy sector would be an advantage but will not exclude a candidate with the right skill sets and attitude. Highly organised individual who understands the importance of efficiency and effectiveness in a dynamic sales role. You will be conversant with modern IT solutions and operation of CRM system. Willingness for personal development and training in the role is essential. You should have strong written and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with potential and existing customers at all levels. You will have sound business acumen and take responsibility for new customer creation and margin management within the various business sectors. Develop credibility by demonstrating a wide-ranging knowledge of the energy industry generally. You are required to be organised, work to a clear set of goals and manage rapidly changing priorities in a Team environment. You should be a Team player and show flexibility to support colleagues as required in all divisions. Be goal focussed and motivated to achieve. You will be proactive and dynamic in the role constantly seeking to make improvements, innovate and find new ways. You will possess a full clean driving licence. Contact: Angela Dunne.
