This organisation is a globally renowned leading health care company, who focus upon developing revolutionary therapeutics that have a meaningful impact on patient's health worldwide. At their site in Carlow they produce biologics. The blockbuster cancer therapeutics developed at this site accounts for approximately one quarter of the organisation's revenue. €220 million was invested into the development of this site, and it has continued to expand since it was established in 2008. Due to this expansion, the organisation requires a Validation Lead to manage the dynamic validation team. The Role: This role reports directly to the Site Engineering Director and you will be responsible for leading the team and the validation programme in relation to the manufacturing facility, utilities, process and equipment. Other responsibilities include: Leading the Validation Team ensuring effective performance of all team members. Coordinating documentation review/ approval and support the execution of validation activities. Act as Change Control assessor for changes in relation to validation. Development of quality systems and procedures to support facility start-up in relation to validation. The Person: A Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering related discipline. Ideally 8 years' experience in validation industry. Experience working in a GMP or cGMP regulated environment - Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology preferred.
