Service Mechanical Fitter. Role based desired: Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois. Our client have a strong national presence all over Ireland and are part of a global operation of 18k plus people. They are involved in the provision of refrigeration and industrial solutions to the dairy, brewery and water industries. They are looking for a service mechanical fitter to join one of their teams to cover the midlands area repairing separators, decanters/centrifuges. Apprentice level also considered. Main duties will include carrying out preventative maintenance repairing machinery and troubleshooting breakdowns, repairing separators, decanters/centrifuges. Extensive training will be provided both here in Ireland and in Germany. Extensive travel is required with this role so you need to be prepared to undertake this or have prior experience of service work on the road and know the challenges that brings. A Reasonable level of overtime expected. Some weekend work also required on a rostered basis. Candidates with be provided with a van and all associated expense for work will be paid.
