What you need to know. You will work as a Quality Engineer for our client, an expanding engineering company in the Carlow area. These is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Quality support to Engineering, Toolroom and Production Departments. Complete & maintain FAIR records, Cert Of Conformance Packs. Receiving and inspection of incoming goods and materials & ensure conformance to all requirements. Participate in investigations/problem solving activities within the QC Department. Create work instructions and SOP`s. Write, maintain and verify CMM inspection programs. Ensure all gages/CMM are –Calibrated and maintained. Review of documentation and systems in line with ISO requirements. Participate in internal, customer and regulatory audits. What are we looking for? 3rd level Engineering/Technology qualification. Must understand engineering drawings and technical engineering information. Ability to deal with internal/external customers and suppliers at all levels. Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities. Desirable: Experience of working with Coordinate Measuring Machines. Knowledge of CAD packages.
