Our client is a world leader in their area and are looking for a Graduate Design Engineer. The Role involves: Generation of new product designs which meet manufacturing, safety, CE and performance requirements. Designs include new product development, tooling, fixtures, and modification/upgrades to current product. Understand industry design specifications and technical criteria to develop product designs based on customer and market specifications. Working within groups in order to successfully complete projects. Ensure equipment solutions are delivered within planned schedules and within budget. Ensure documentation/drawing standards for equipment meet requirements. Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. As part of the design team, the graduate will be expected to work closely with both internal and external specialists to complete projects. The ideal candidate: Will have a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent. Ideally will have some R&D Experience. Ideally from an agricultural background. Will have strong experience in Solidworks and CAD. Has strong commercial awareness. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
