An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client based in Carlow for a Yard Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company. The Role Management of  the day to day depot activities. The Yard supervisor will be responsible for the management of the sales and administration staff, manages stock control, oversees all day to day yard operations, and will assist in the management of a small yard team including rostering, recruitment, training and performance management. Identifying training needs, delivering training where appropriate. Identifying all potential new customers and having a clear strategy to acquire them. Working with Head Office to ensure all processing is closed off correctly to agreed timelines. The Person A highly motivated self-starter, the Yard Supervisor will operate in a multi-task environment with deadlines and will be able to challenge themselves to exceed standards, striving for best in class. Attention to detail and accuracy essential. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. A proven track record and experience in a supervisor or similar role with demonstrable evidence of successful delivery of results. A relevant 3rd level qualification or its equivalent in management or finance or sales or marketing are desirable.
