My client commutable from wexford, Carlow and Dublin currently have a requirement for an experienced financial controller coming from an FMCG background. This role will be based in Carlow with some travel to Dublin throughout the month. You will be qualified with 5 years or more within the FMCG sector at Financial Controller level. RESPONSIBILITIES. •Manage day to day accounts function. •Manage the accounts team ensuring best practice, workflow efficiency etc. •Operating and maintaining an efficient and effective financial control function. •Cost accounting and margin analysis. •Overseeing payroll. •Producing and analyzing regular reports. •Managing the annual accounts process including liaising with the company Auditor. •Board packs. •Treasury function and managing financial assets. •Budgets. •Statutory reports and submissions. •Reviewing the accounts system and recommending/implementing improvements. •Project work within finance. REQUIREMENTS. •Qualified Accountant with 5 years or more at Finance Manager/ Controller level within the FMCG sector. •Strong finance background.
