On behalf of our client based in the Carlow area a job has arisen for a Sales Executive to join their busy sales team. Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager; the Sales Executive role will be focused on customer service and support of field sales activities. The role will involve servicing of inbound enquiries however in time can advance to sales lead generation and cold calling to develop specific product lines. Duties: Handling of inbound enquiries from existing and new customers. Processing sales orders and coordination for delivery of same with internal departments (i.e. accounts & warehouse. Sales support. Generating quotations for both live and tender enquiries; follow up of same. Skills: Third level qualification in business/construction discipline preferred or experience in a similar role selling technical products. Literacy in MS Office. Excellent oral, written and numeracy skills essential. Ability to comprehend technical building products and impart advise to customers on use of same. Ability to understand CAD drawings not essential but will offer candidates a distinct advantage. Attributes: Positive and friendly attitude. Ability to build & maintain relationships with customers. Understanding of the importance of delivering excellent customer service. Flexible and willing to learn. Good team player. Detail oriented and organised.
