Established Freight Forwarding group are now recruiting a Sales Representative to devise new and ensure the current growth strategy to grow their market share of freight and Logistics services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative with industry experience and knowledge. The main purpose of the job is to win new business and work to agreed budget targets as well as to strengthen market position by locating, developing, defining, promoting, negotiating, and securing new business by closing the sale. You will develop and maintain solution's services to existing, potential and past clients ensuring a profitable return for the company in accordance with company procedures, operational procedures and statutory requirements, including Health & Safety to the satisfaction of clients and ensuring the profit of the company. You will have current proven sales success on and are comfortable engaging with decision-makers at senior levels to sell our suite of logistic solutions. Already used to working to targets, you will have a track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads, sales, business development and winning new business. You are not frightened to knock on doors and identify that new opportunity. Responsibilities. Identify, source and manage potential clients in Road and Ocean Sales. Negotiate and secure new business at top levels. Generate new road and ocean freight business via sales calls; prospecting and following up on leads. Work to and exceed agreed monthly and annual sales targets. Work with internal management to ensure alignment with branch strategies and forecasting. Complete sales reports, customer profiles and projections. Maintain continuous contact with customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts. Prepare and submit sales on a monthly basis. Candidate Requirements. Minimum 3 year of face-to-face sales experience within freight forwarding or similar role. The ability to negotiate and sell at all levels in an organisation. Strong understanding of the freight forwarding business. Ability to understand the needs an organisation in order to develop and present business solutions. Be self-motivated and a self-starter and excellent record in achieving or exceeding sales targets. Have at least three years comparable sales exprience in a B2B sales environment. Have a clean driving. Be computer literate. Package.
