L&D Specialist. 12 month FTC. Carlow. My client, a multinational pharmaceutical organisation is recruiting an L&D Specialist to work on a 12-month fixed term contract on their site in Carlow. Responsibilities. Conduct training needs analysis to identify skills gaps. Design, implement and facilitate training programmes to support a high performance organisation. Design training materials to support training process. Constantly review and evaluate training to ensure objects are met. Collaborate with management and other areas of the business both locally and internationally to ensure training needs are met. Drive a culture of safety and compliance through training. Super user for the LMS, maintaining accurate records and compliance standards. Act as a subject matter expert for L&D and LMS. Point of contact for regulatory audits. Requirements. Level 8 degree in Learning & Development/Human Resources or similar relevant area. Working knowledge of a wide range of training methodologies, learning style and behaviours. Experience conducting training needs analysis. Experience of designing, implementing, facilitating and evaluating training. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong leadership and influencing skills. Experience leading projects and driving change. Pro-active approach with good judgement and strong decision-making skills.
