Description

Are you our next Manufacturing Support Manager? This new opportunity sits within our Operations function, you will be responsible for leading a team of shift colleagues who are key in the production and manufacturing of our life enhancing products which go to patients across the globe. What you will do:  Bring high standards, knowledge, creativity and leadership to carry out the following: Support manufacturing activities through oversight and management of process investigations associated with non-GMP activities and completion of quality notifications. Collaborate with Technical and Quality Departments to ensure robust investigation of quality events. Raise and investigate quality notifications using standard tools and methods, to resolve system issues. Support Batch release through ensuring timely Quality Notification completion, Interim/summary report generation; meeting batch release requirements. Support all site regulatory (HPRA, FDA) and corporate audits. Partner with manufacturing shift coaches and colleagues to deliver communications, training, project work, audit/inspection duties etc.; thereby ensuring department is audit/inspection ready and ensure aseptic excellence is maintained at all times. Manage Customer and supplier complaint investigations associated with manufacturing activities ensure they are closed out to support production activities in a timely manner in conjunction with the SCM team. Drive continuous improvement by leading and active participation in system failure investigations and investigation reports, execution/development of change control, and contribution to Kaizen events as appropriate. What skills you will need: In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: Several years experience in a leadership role GMP setting with 1-2 years experience in investigation of quality events desirable, ideally background in manufacturing, process engineering or quality. Demonstrated ability to support, mentor and lead a team. Strong focus on delivery and results driven. Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to multiple levels within company. Solid collaborative skills, to be able to work in a diverse organisation. Bachelors in Science or Engineering related disciplines preferred. Note: Please note this role will be based full time on site in Carlow.
