A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations Shift Manager. This position will contribute to coaching and mentoring IPT operations teams within the site. Additionally, ensuring that our shift operations processes/policies are adhered to efficiently to ensure we deliver to our stakeholders; Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following: Responsible for the operations teams, process equipment and all activities in their Value Stream. Supports the IPT (Integrated Process Team) Leader by contributing to the tactical and strategic direction, promoting the behaviors and principles that drive continuous improvement. Ensure that objectives are effectively achieved, consistent with our companies’ requirements to ensure compliance, safety and reliable supply to our customers. Accountable for production related schedule adherence, tasks and resources in IPT and cross functionally; partner with colleagues to perform vendor management, communications, training, project work, audit/inspection duties etc.; thereby ensuring department is audit/inspection ready. Accountable for compliance via documentation completion, risk assessments, closing out corrective action; participate in audits and inspections and proactively highlighting any issues around compliance. What skills you will need: In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: Bachelors Degree or higher preferred; in a related Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline. Considerable experience in a comparable role; would typically have experience operating as a senior professional and adding considerable value to the business; in a GMP manufacturing setting. Knowledge of regulatory/code requirements to Irish, European and International Codes, Standards and Practices. SAP knowledge and experience preferred. Lean Six Sigma Methodology experience desired.
