Quality Director is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Carlow based client. THE ROLE: * Major responsibility is the execution of the quality decision-making function for the site. * This includes responsibility for Drug Product release decisions and the compliance standard of all systems related to the manufacture of Drug Products at the Carlow plant. * Responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the site-wide quality assurance and regulatory compliance effort. * The Director also has ultimate responsibility for any internal, customer and regulatory GMP audits of the plant and must ensure compliance with cGMPs such that Carlow is always inspection ready. * As part of the sites Quality Management System, the incumbent is the System Owner for the Quality System. * Responsible for providing Quality support to the integrated Process Teams (IPTs) to ensure compliance with regulatory and business needs. * Drive compliance with the Company's Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day to day activities and all applicable job functions. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred; ideally in a related Science discipline. * Significant experience in a comparable role. * Eexperience leading a functional area and contributing to the business at a directional, strategic level; ideally in a manufacturing, preferably GMP setting.
