Director Supply Chain Management – Carlow. Are you our next Director of Supply Chain? An opportunity is now available to lead a talented and effective team of enthusiastic, energetic people in delivering life enhancing medicines to our patients around the world. What you will do: You will be responsible for Planning & Scheduling, Warehouse management, Material management, Logistics, Supplier management and SAP at the site. This role also has dotted line responsibility for Procurement.  You will be a member of the site Leadership Team and play a key role in the development of strategy and co-ordination of overall site operations. Additionally: Set strategy and direction for SCM to ensure on going value is added to meet business needs, including the start-up of the new warehouse expansion. As a senior leader in the organization you will be responsible for strategic leadership, managing a sizable function and for building competencies, talent management and the development of people. Utilizes the above site Supply Chain organization to ensure alignment of Supply Chain activities across the division. Ensure a safe & complaint culture, and seamless integration of the Carlow Expansion project team members into the existing facility operations. What skills you will need: In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: Deep understanding of site operations, processes (ideally familiar with the Products), equipment and associated stakeholders (internal and external Customers & Suppliers. Knowledge of Material Management Requirements (Direct and Indirect) and Supplier Management. Has an in-depth knowledge of SAP and Master Data. Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to multiple levels within the company. Solid collaborative skills, to be able to work in a diverse organisation. Bachelors Degree or higher preferred; ideally in a related Business, Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline.  A minimum of 10 years post qualification is required.
